Want to work at FeedBurner?

Since I started at FeedBurner in June ‘05, we’ve grown steadily — from 10 to 18, our current size.

Now it’s time for another growth spurt.

We’re looking for a bunch of people in engineering, advertising operations, account management and yes, design.

Matt and I have been holding down the design fort for the last 7 months, but now it’s time to add a special someone to our small team. What kind of person are we looking for? From the job posting:

Do you take pride in crafting great user experiences from original product concepts and requirements? Can you visualize complex web software interaction designs? Don’t mind getting your hands dirty in Javascript and JSP code? Have a knack for visual and graphic design for the web?

In other words, we’re looking for a great interface designer and front-end web developer with experience and good all-around skills.

Every job post sounds great on paper, but take it from me — FeedBurner is a great place to work and this is a killer opportunity. You’ll be one of three designers responsible for every aspect of the FeedBurner user experience, which means non-stop excitement and a chance to really Make a Difference.

(And by that, I mean that your decisions will affect thousands of FeedBurner publishers. Your work will be discussed, praised and criticized in the press and on blogs around the web, and you’ll be in direct contact with the very people using the work you’ve done.)

But that’s enough from me. Take a look at the job posting for Visual/Interaction Designer and the rest of our openings. If you have any questions about these positions or what the atmosphere is like at FeedBurner, you know where to find me.
