Looking for a good, free, easy-to-use server control panel
Now that I’ve moved my personal projects and sites to RimuHosting (very happily, I might add) I want to do the same for some of the clients I work with. Well, mostly just the Arboretum.
While RimuHosting rocks, they do not provide an easy-to-use server control panel for things like password-protecting directories, setting up email accounts, checking stats, etc. It’s important that Pat (the web manager at the Arboretum) be able to do some basic server configuration without having to ask for my help.
So, any suggestions for a good, free, simple server control panel that I can install myself on a pretty standard LAMP VPS? Important features:
- Ability to password-protect directories
- Ability to create and manage email accounts and forwarders
- Simple, clear user interface
- Easy installation process (for me)
- Free
There’s got to be something out there for me. Any suggestions?
