Back in Chicago
We’re back from San Francisco (really the Bay Area and surroundings). Don’t miss my 47 photos on Flickr.
I enjoyed doing the 20-word-per-day account last time, so let’s give that a try again.
Thursday: Finished work and caught the El to Midway. Had Potbelly for dinner and enjoyed an uneventful flight to Oakland.
Friday: Downtown. Had lunch at Samovar Tea Lounge, hung out at Golden Gate, then joined Liz and friends after work.
Saturday: St. Helena. Tasted at V. Satuui and Merryvale, then had dinner at Market. Drove back and went out in Rockridge.
Sunday: Santa Cruz. Had pizza and went hiking. Returned to San Francisco to meet Nina (Michelle’s step-sister) and Bruno for dinner.
Monday: Met Don for lunch. Michelle and I explored the hilliest parts of San Francisco. Met Ginny and Liz for dinner in North Beach.
Tuesday: Milkshakes at Taylor’s, sausages at Rosemunde, beer at Toronado — all before lunch! Then, sushi and jazz at Yoshi’s.
Wednesday: Had brunch with Ginny at Crepevine. Took BART to the Oakland airport and enjoyed another uneventful flight.
