2005: The year in cities
Finally, a meme I can get behind!
If you know me well, you know that I love cities. (Even some that might be too small to be considered proper cities.) They’re all different, and they’re all beautiful in at least some way.
So, following Kottke’s lead, here’s a list of cities in which I spent at least one night in 2005 (i.e. I slept there). In roughly chronological order:

- Chicago, IL (I live here)

- Denver, CO

- Mackinac Island, MI
- Empire, MI
- Ontario, CA
- Greenville, SC
- New York, NY
It’s a shorter list than I’d like, but not bad considering I moved and started a new job this year. Here’s to a prosperous — and travel-filled — 2006!
