Today I recorded a short interview with Rick Klau for our first-ever FeedBurner podcast. We talked a little bit about the recent application redesign, my first three months with the team, and some of the future directions for FeedBurner The Application and our many unannounced offerings. (Tee hee hee.)

This was my first time behind the mic in quite a while — and my previous experiences* hardly count. In the past, I’ve found myself talking too fast, easily losing my train of thought and then being disappointed at how I sounded after the fact. In other words, I suck.

My performance today was about the same, but I think I managed to say some interesting things and stay below 6,000 words per minute so you can actually understand me. Talking about design and technology is something I really enjoy, so I appreciate the opportunity and had a lot of fun.

No word yet on when we’ll post the showSteve’s gotta do some post-production and we need to, er, figure out where to put it on our web site (!). Stay tuned, though. I’ll post an update here and there will undoubtedly be some mention on Burning Questions when the show is available.

* In no particular order, my previous experiences are: home recording, performing with the Mosaic, dabblings in radio during high school and college, and *cough* karaoke.
