I’m playing at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago this weekend

Briefly, I’d like to note that I will be performing this Sunday, October 9, at the Beat Kitchen (2100 W. Belmont) in Chicago.

Many thanks to my good friend Will Phalen, who invited me to accompany him and his girlfriend Anna. We’ll be playing a couple of tunes (two new pieces, one old Mosaic joint, and one Beatles song) in honor of John Lennon’s birthday. For those of you who care about instrumentation and other obscurities, I’m playing a three-piece drum kit, Will is playing amplified acoustic guitar and singing, and Anna is singing.

So if you’re in the area, come on out! Mention this post and get a prize. Okay, not really. Totally kidding.
