Appearing live: Me
Update: This is a little late, but the show was a huge success! Congratulations to everyone involved on a job well done, and thanks again to Will and Rosa for the opportunity.

On Thursday, March 31, I will be performing in Duende: A Journey Into the Soul of an American Gypsy in Great Hall here on the UW-Madison campus. My good friend, roommate and former band-mate Will Phalen explains it better than I ever could:
[Producer Rosamaria Cisneros Kostic] is a fantastic artist, dancer, and choreographer who incorporates elements of flamenco, gypsy, and modern dance into her work, and this show will be a collection of dance, song, and visual art which blends together all those styles while also seeking to teach people about the beautiful and diverse gypsy cultures found throughout the world.
I am really excited about this event, and hope that if you are interested, you’ll come check it out on Thursday. Some more details from Will:
The show begins at 8:00 pm on Thursday night, March 31st, and will be held in the Great Hall at Memorial Union in Madison. The performance will be preceded by a walk-through gallery with photographs, artist biographies, and literature about Gypsy culture; the gallery opens at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the show are $8 and can be bought at the door.
Thanks to Rosa and Will for inviting me to be involved. I’ll post something of a report later this week.
